Premiere: Meet Cardiac Half, Your Local Baristas
Cardiac Half, the band of brothers Drew and Dylan Miller, started as a pop-punk band, but are now channeling their indie pop vibes.
This Altanta based band released their first EP in 2017. In early 2018 they began producing with HeyHey studios, which led to three singles that year. This year has been their biggest yet, with the release of "Big Bad Wolf" which has been a tremendous success. It has over 30,000 streams on Spotify alone.
Their name 'Cardiac Half' isn't just a band name, it's a story; Dylan lives with a heart condition, and Drew is deaf in his left ear. Through both their name and music, their goal is to share their story in hopes to resonate with listeners.
Their newest single"City Lights" is a laid back song that conveys a simple and sweet message. It's a song with a splash of coffee, water, and love. The video begins in a café, where the barista (Dylan) does the classic move of writing his number on the cup. From there, the beautiful love story unfolds.
About the video - "They’re living life large, doing what they want, whenever they want. Money and sleep, none of it matters for this one night," Miller said. "Tomorrow will come, and then they’ll just be your average Joes. But even if tomorrow were to never come, they’d still have each other."
You can watch the video right here, right now a few days early from the official release. Make sure to tell us your favorite part!
