The Detroit Music Scene is a Fan of Bishop Briggs

The alternative music scene has always been a fan of Bishop Briggs, and with the release of her newest album “Champion”, so is all of Detroit. The British singer closed out her US tour at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit, MI this past weekend, bringing a crowd of dedicated and passionate fans with her. Performing alongside her were two equally talented female powerhouses- Detroit native Jax Anderson and LA singer Miya Folick. Opening the set with the title track “Champion”, the crowd was instantly brought to their feet, and the energy remained electric throughout the night. Bishop is no stranger to powerful songs with emotional lyrics, and this album moves perfectly through the experiences of heartbreak through ballads and anthems. Along with Bishop’s new album, opener Jax Anderson also put out a new body of work- her newest EP “Heal”. Bishop continues her Champion Tour overseas this December, starting in the UK and finishing in Paris.
